Water Softeners
At Soft Water Solutions, LLC we understand the hard water issues in eastern NC. Just about every municipality and well water supply in eastern NC have a high concentration of calcium carbonate, sometimes referred to as limestone which we call “hard water.” The use of a properly sized water softener will prevent permanent damage to dishwashers, water heaters, icemakers, washing machines, and plumbing fixtures created by the hard water build up. Hard water leaves a heavy scale build up on glassware, dishes, pots, pans, plumbing appliances, as well as causing white clothes to become a dingy color rather than bright white. The use of a water softener can also assist in lowering electric bills associated with preventing unnecessary scale build up on heating elements inside of water heaters.

Filter Systems
We offer a large selection of Automatic Filter Systems to handle various contaminants in water such as chlorine, ammonia, iron, and hydrogen sulfide. Most municipal (city/county) water supplies in eastern NC use chlorine and ammonia to disinfect our water supplies, leaving water with an offensive taste and sometimes odor. Some well water supplies in eastern NC have high concentrations of iron causing “red rust stains” on appliances, clothing, and even to hair. Other well water supplies will contain a gaseous odor called hydrogen sulfide often associated with a “rotten egg odor.” Besides the unpleasant odor of hydrogen sulfide it is also very corrosive to plumbing fixtures and HVAC units due to its gaseous nature.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
The public demand for purified water free of chemical contaminants continues to grow at a ramped rate. At Soft Water Solutions, LLC we design and install residential Reverse Osmosis Systems for drinking water systems used for cooking, drinking, and ice production to whole house Reverse Osmosis Systems. We also offer commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems for car/boat washing to on board water makers for yachts.
Bottled Water Coolers
Going “GREEN” is a priority at Soft Water Solutions, LLC. Rather than continuing to recycle plastic bottles in our environment, we have chosen to use Bottleless Water Coolers which we refer to as Point of Use Coolers. Our coolers are the same size as regular bottled water coolers but come in many different colors and are equipped with hot, chilled, and room temperature water. The water is purified by state of the art reverse osmosis. No more lifting bottles, leaking bottles, bottle storage, or delivery fuel surcharges.
Rust staining from Irrigation Systems
Unsightly rust stains on fences, driveways, sidewalks, houses, and even trees can easily be prevented by our special advanced formula we add to your automatic irrigation system. This small, compact, and affordable chemical feed pump system will prevent further staining of your property.
